Alveran Records is proud to announce the official signing of Milwaukee straight edge band, Eyes To The Sky, to a two-album worldwide deal. Formed in 2004, the group has previously released material through Seventh Dagger Records and Funeral Verse Records. Here's what the band has to say about the deal:

"We are extremely excited about this worldwide deal and our future with Alveran Records, Europe's largest and most respected hardcore label. We're very proud to be a part of a label that has released material from some of today's most important and influential hardcore acts such as Shattered Realm, Icepick, Unearth, and Bury Your Dead. Thanks to all of our friends, family, past labels, and everyone who has helped us take this band this far, it's a dream come true! Expect big things coming from Eyes To The Sky in the next year!"

Eyes To The Sky are currently wrapping up writing and plan to enter studio to record their Alveran Records debut album this summer.

We’ve finished mixing and mastering our Seventh Dagger debut "All Bets Are Off". You can get a sneak preview of the disc by downloading a few tracks that have been posted on our MySpace. Let us know what you think!

ETTS Studio Update...

So last weekend the main and backing vocals were wrapped up at Spectra Haus. Once crew vocals are laid down there will be some more weeks of mixing and editing, and then we will finally be mastering the disc at Mastermind Productions with the Trevor Sadler.

Look for the disc to drop in early 2008. Stay tuned for more updates and release info!!

Seventh Dagger Records has officially inked a new distribution deal with East West via Warner Brothers Distribution. This new deal will span both physical and digital distribution. The deal will allow for many new retail opportunities and new media platforms.

"This new partnership ushers in a new era for Seventh Dagger, allowing for extensive label growth and a much wider level of distribution spanning the entirety of the United States and Canada."

As of October 16th, the entire Seventh Dagger back catalog will be available via both physical and digital formats. Expect new releases from xBarcadiax, Eyes To The Sky, xThe Warx, and a xAFBx / Winds of Plague split in 2008.

Milwaukee-based hardcore act Eyes To The Sky have posted an update regarding the band's upcoming album and line-up changes.

Official statement:

"Alot of exciting stuff in the works in the ETTS camp. We've just entered studio with producer Kevin Forsythe to begin recording our Seventh Dagger Records debut full-length "All Bets Are Off". The album will contain nine tracks of some of the heaviest and most polished music we've ever written as a band.

In other news, our bassist Jay has decided to move on with his life. He will be heading back to college in fall and has many other exciting things ahead of him. His departure is sad as he has been with us from the start, but there is definitely no bad blood and we wish him all the best!

Enter Charles Forsberg III, our new bassist! Charles is an exceptional bassist and many of you may already know him from the Milwaukee death metal band Empire. Make sure to come out and meet him at our upcoming dates.

Eyes To The Sky is ready to continue doing what we do best, playing passion-filled hardcore with a strong straight edge message. We'll see you all on tour soon!"

Sooo... summer's finally over school's back in session. Eyes To The Sky have finally completed their summer of touring are taking some time off to write a bit. Taking time off does however include playing the Heart A' Hardcore Fest 2006 in Ohio on September 23rd, and also hitting up Grimey Fest 2006 in Queens, New York. We got some scattered dates planned so stay tuned and catch us out on the road near you. Check the tour page here for details.

Eyes To The Sky have been busy as hell!! We've been on the road a ton and just got back from the Ohio Distress Fest. We had a blast playing with our good friends in CDC and Strength N' Honor.
